For fans of: Smashing Pumpkins and Jimmy Eat World

On the 24th of February 2017, Nightlife are set to self-release their debut album ‘Salt & Acid’, which features a variety of songs, each one being equally as uniqueThis London based group is formed of Paul Foster (Vocals and Guitar), Will Wilson (Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals), Lewis Harrison (Bass and Backing Vocals), and Garth Vickers on Drums. They’ve been together since 2012, and have previously released two EP’s titled The Road To Hope & Glory in 2012, and For The Record in 2013 which feature tracks of a slightly different style to the upcoming album!

The overall sound of the album is hard to narrow down, as each track has a unique twist on genres and style, but has been described as ‘strapping your ears to a rollercoaster (in a good way)’ by bassist Lewis Harrison“We are always pushing ourselves to create something that excites us, blending a myriad of genres and bands that we are influenced by, regardless of what others think or say. There’s a lot going on which means there’s never a dull moment on this record, we’ve got big heavy riffs segueing into stripped-back harmonised acapella and then into funky melodic singalong sections; it’ll keep you on your toes that’s for sure. It’s like strapping your ears to a rollercoaster (in a good way).”

Salt & Acid has such heavy riffs and such harmonized acapella sounds which makes this album more amazing. You can definitely hear a distinctive sound from the band compared to other artists in the music industry. They also are such hard workers, and put a lot of effort into their music and shows. I believe Nightlife will be really popular this year.

Make sure to check out Salt & Acid on February 24, 2017!
