Roni Size is returning to the US for a handful of select US solo DJ gigs and festival dates for the first time in nearly a decade. Spanning his 20-plus-year career, Size has kept busy releasing music, running three record labels, producing, and working on his most recent collaborative projects B-Sides and Pro7ect. Size was also the recent recipient of the 2017 Music Producers Guild Inspiration Award, which comes exactly 20 years after receiving the Mercury Music Prizefor 1997’s New Forms LP.

The award is given to recording professionals who, according to the MPG board of directors, are “responsible for a body of work that has significantly inspired others.” Previous recipients include Nile RodgersDamon AlbarnGlyn Johns and Sylvia Massy.

Throughout his career, Size has worked with several high profile artists, having amassed production credits with the likes of Method ManRage Against The Machine’s Zac de la Rochaand beat-box master Rahzel. More recently he collaborated with the BBC’s Nature’s Great Events composer, William Goodchild, to mark the re-opening of Bristol’s Colston Hall.
