Nashville’s rising rock band, Omega Swan, released a new track called Autonation! Omega Swan fuses futuristic guitar and synth hooks along with powerful rock vocals. The song itself is commentary on modern culture drawing parallels between automated technology and a seemingly automated American society.

Marcus Garceau (guitar, vocals, synthesizers) describes the song as “encouraging listeners to think for themselves, find their own truths, and pursue whatever it is that makes them feel fulfilled.”

Omega Swan has developed their signature modern sound that harkens to bands like The Killers and The Flaming Lips.  Working with engineer Edsel Holden (The Raconteurs, The Lumineers, The Insurgency, etc..) “Autonation” is a step forward.

In addition to their new song, Omega Swan played to a sold out Nashville audience to compete in Lightning 100‘s Road to Roo competition, where they will compete against Nashville’s top rock bands in order to continue their journey to hopefully be chosen to play the annual Bonnaroo Festival.

The next level of competition takes place as follows:

Road to Roo: City Finals

March 28th @ The Basement East

Free Show // 21+ // 7PM Doors

Get there before 9PM to get a voting ballot // Voting starts at 9pm

Omega Swan will be one of four bands in the final show and the winner will play the State Finals against the winner of the Memphis City Finals. Whoever wins the State Finals will play at Bonnaroo!
