Mt. Wolf – Heavenbound

Hailing from London, England, Mt. Wolf just released their new single called Heavenbound which is off the band’s upcoming album, “Aetherlight.” It will be released on May 26, 2017, and it is now available for pre-order at

“In their new single, “Heavenbound,” Mt. Wolf produces a melancholy sound that will make listeners want to close their eyes and escape the real world. Lead singer, Sebastian ‘Bassi’ Fox’s deep voice flows effortlessly with sounds of a piano as he sings, “I will see you again…my friend.” This nostalgic theme carries throughout the rest of the song as background vocals and light guitars begin to fill the sound around him. The drawn out voices working in harmony with lyrics like, “the dark tore us apart,” emphasizes the longing for a person that was felt when writing “Heavenbound.” The song reaches it’s climax towards the end, as the music slowly builds and eventually the vocals are cut out. A multitude of instruments create a full band sound and light, angelic background vocals begin to resurface. In contrast to the melancholic beginning of the song, the “Heavenbound” ends on a lighter note. The full band and higher vocals produce a hopeful and whimsical vibe, gradually pulling the listener back to reality.” – Grace Dearing of Veracious Magazine
