Knuckle Puck, Milestones, and Mayday Parade @ Wonder Ballroom in Portland, OR

Tuesday April 11th, 2017 was one for the books. I had a real physical photo pass for one of my favorite bands; Knuckle Puck. They were supporting Tallahassee five-piece Mayday Parade on their 10 year celebration tour for their first album, A Lesson in Romantics.

First up was Milestones, hailing all the way from the United Kingdom. I hope their first time in Portland was a show to remember. They captivated the audience, even with a short setlist. Next was Chicago natives, Knuckle Puck. The boys are always a pleasure to see live with songs like ‘Pretense’ that even have the “I hate pop punk” kids jumping and finger-pointing.

Mayday Parade has sure come a long way in over a decade of music and touring. The production was beautiful, the 19 song setlist killed, and everyone’s inner emo middle schooler came out. It truly was an unforgettable night.
