On May 31st, in London, bands With Confidence and Set It Off played the last show of their co-headline tour across the UK.
Opening the show were UK based band Homebound and the Americans in Too Close To Touch. Both bands were really talented and the crowd reacted positively to their music.
With Confidence opened their set with their hit “Voldemort” and right away, fans started singing the lyrics back to them. They played songs from their recent album “Better Weather” but also older songs “for the people who gave a shit about them before”, in the words of Luke Rockets, the guitarist. With Confidence just announced they’re opening for Mayday Parade on their Europe/UK tour, next September.
Finally, Set It Off took the stage, starting with their song “Why Worry”. Once again, the crowd was singing every word. The band played a mix of songs from their most recent album “Upside Down” and songs from “Duality”, like “Diamond Girl” and “Forever Stuck In Our Youth”. The fans were singing along to every song, and there’s no doubt this show was very special for everyone. Set It Off finished their set with “Life Afraid”, song written after the Paris attacks that Cody Carson (lead singer) dedicated to Manchester. They came back for an encore with two more songs, “Swan Song” and “Hypnotized”. They’re going on tour across North America with One OK Rock, starting on July 6th.
