Anteros @ Komedia Brighton in Brighton, England
Review & Photography by: Emily Freya
A few days ago, I hopped on a train from London to Brighton in order to catch Anteros at their first show of their first ever headline tour – and boy they did not disappoint. Performing like a band who has been headlining for years, Anteros filled up one of Brightons most well-known venues. The band pleased the crowd so much that upon leaving, I overheard two girls suggesting that they catch the London date of the tour too.
The band were supported by Of Empires and Safe to Swim, who are brilliant local bands who brought a fair few fans of their own. The two bands added to the excited atmosphere and set the energy levels high for Anteros’ set.
Midway through Anteros’ performance a few girls from the audience, mid song, joined the band on stage. It was lovely to see how happy the audience were to be up close to a band they clearly loved, but also lovely to see how happy the band were to be receiving such a great reaction. As this was the first show of the tour, I highly recommend catching them on the remainder of their tour, find the dates here: https://www.songkick.com/artists/8611289-anteros
