This being my first hardcore show, I was nervous. Most everyone was taller, older, bigger, etc. I did feel out of place due to the fact that I normally attend Pop Punk shows. Regardless, I was very excited. While She Sleeps was a band that I had loved ever since their single, “Silence Speaks,” was debuted. When they hit the stage, the crowd erupted. I thought that the barricade would surely collapse. I couldn’t contain the grin I wore when the band performed Silence Speaks. I will sure be seeing While She Sleeps again when they return to Portland.
