We spoke with Zander Bleck on his beginning of his music career, his musical influences, and more. Check him out on social media now! http://www.zanderbleck.com

Hi Zander! How are you doing today?

I am really excellent, thank you for asking, and I am actually waking up in Dubai!

Your love for music began at an early age when you would help interview musicians on your father’s radio show. Which artists would you interview?

They were primarily jazz, world, and classical artists.

What would you say the highlight was on working with your dad interviewing musicians?

I think just being immersed in that world early was such a cool experience. I would always listen to their answers and try to really grasp the depths of their lives.

Who are your musical influences?

It really is a mix of so much. From Hans Zimmer, to Coldplay, to Queen, to INXS, to Washed Out, to Daft Punk, to Phil Collins, to Elvis etc.

You released your new music video, Mercy Me just a few days ago. What is the meaning behind the track?

Yes, and I love the video so much! Mercy Me is my love song to the music business.

I checked out your Instagram page and you were in Paris! What was your favorite part in the city?

I really love traveling. Paris is definitely one of my favorite places in the world. The latin Quarter is my hang in Paris. I was also in Morocco, Mali, Barbados, and now the UAE since then.

Music wise, what do you have planned for the rest of the year?

Do everything I physically can to take over the world. 🙂
