Punk rock band, Black Anchors hailing from North Devon, England will be releasing their self-titled debut EP on April 27th, 2018.
Scott Xander Linn (singer), James Fidge (bass), and Billy Hammett (drums) formed in the late months of 2017, and they’ve already played shows with Ghouls then The Fallen State in Plymouth, with Flatfoot 56 (from Chicago) at The Cavern, Exeter and with Gaz Brookfield in Bideford as well as a headline show in Bideford.
At the start of January, they traveled to Momentum Studios in Plymouth for four days to record their self titled debut EP which comes out later this month. For the fans who are eager to listen to the music already, the wait is so worth it! It consists of four tracks that are filled with a perfect treasure of fast paced melodies sung with well written lyrics.
The band has plans to record and release material in the very near future along with a desire to hit the road and play shows wherever that road takes them. Make sure to check them out on social media, and listen to their EP when it releases because it’s a banger!
