The Victory Drive, In Loving Memory, City of the Weak, and Echo Black @ Asbury Park Music Foundation in Asbury Park, NJ

City of the Weak stopped by the Asbury Park Music Foundation along with Echo Black, In Loving Memory, and The Victory Drive for the TurnItTo11 tour. The night kicked off with an acoustic set by The Victory Drive where the duo brought soft sound songs based around a keyboard and a guitar. Even though the venue had a small space, it made the show’s atmosphere more intimate than other venues in the area. With music blasting, the audience was engaging with the band, and fans were eager for more bands hit the stage. Up next was In Loving Memory, and they opened up with a fast-paced song to get everyone’s energy pumped up.
Following them was City of the Weak who had an amazing energy, wonderful vocals, and riffs. This female fronted alternative rock band from Minneapolis, has amazing stage presence, and music to back it up. I would highly recommend checking them out if you haven’t already because City of the Weak will definitely be a band to look out for in the future. The venue became full by the end of their set and there was one last band to perform: Echo Black. As the lights dimmed, Echo Black started their set in almost total darkness. If you don’t know who Echo Black is, they are a dance rock band from New York, and they do not disappoint with putting on a great set. This band has a unique sound, mainly because of the vocals being in a high octave.
Make sure to check out all of these great bands on social media and keep an eye out for a show near you!
