Common Ground Music Festival in Lansing, MI is a four day festival that takes places in the heart of downtown at Adado Riverfront Park and has featured acts such as A$AP Rocky, The Front Bottoms, Twenty One Pilots, Styx, and Earth, Wind, and Fire will be featuring a variety of acts/ genres such as Hunter Hayes, Kip Moore, Børns Halsey, Logic, Gucci Mane, and Kevin Gates over the course of the weekend. There will also be some Michigan based artists performing at Common Ground such as Børns, NF, and Lex J to name a few so make sure you come out and support them.

Thursday, July 5th:

On this day, you can look forward to seeing artists such as Hunter Hayes (country), Kip Moore (country), Børns (Indie pop/ alternative rock), Judah & the Lion (Americana), and Vesperteen (pop). This day will be a blast for all regardless of age and be fun for families, but seems to be targeted toward teenagers. The artists that I really recommend going to see this day are Judah & the Lion and Vesperteen.

Friday, July 6th:

This day has acts Halsey (electric pop), Lex J (pop), Jessie Reyez (R&B, soul),  London Richards (R&B soul), Sasha Sloan (rock/pop), and Smino (hip-hop). This day features many female artists such I think is an awesome thing because all these women are talented and deserve the spotlight on this day. My artists that are a must see this day are Halsey and Sasha Sloan.

Saturday, July 7th:

This day features Logic (hip-hop), NF (hip-hop), DJ Kool (hip-hop), Tone-Loc (hip-hop), and Maggie Lindemann (pop). On this day, the artists I think are a must see are Logic, NF, and Maggie Lindemann because of their passion for performing and energy while they’re doing it.

Sunday, July 8th:

Last but most definitely not least, Sunday will feature Gucci Mane (hip-hop), Kevin Gates (hip-hop), T-Pain (hip-hop), Prime Suspects (hip-hop), and Supa Bwe (hip-hop). This is the night I expect to see the most people to attend Common Ground based on the attendance on hip-hop nights in years past. My artists to see this night are Gucci Mane, Kevin Gates, and Prime Suspects.

Tickets are available here.
