Hailing from Sheffield of the United Kingdom, the three-piece Bang Bang Romeo is dominating the music industry with hot new tracks and by performing two shows at O2 Arena VIP Lounge with The Foo Fighters and The Killers headlining the main events last year.
Lead vocalist Stars (Anastasia Walker) is an unrivaled frontwoman with a huge voice comparable to the likes of Adele and Beth Ditto and a larger-than-life presence that impresses every audience. She is also a voice and ambassador for women in the industry and the LGBT community has suffered from bullying and discrimination herself in the past.
They are a propelling force for female-fronted bands which was noticed by Eleven Seven Label Group who recently signed them for a worldwide deal and ahead of their mind-blowing performance at this year’s Isle Of Wight festival. Bang Bang Romeo had the incredible opportunity to open the main stage to the biggest crowd as an opening act in history. In addition to their first track through the label, “Shame On You,” a debut album will also be releasing in October of this year.
You can catch them live at a number of festivals this year plus a show supporting Electric Six at Nambucca, London on August 23rd. They will also be announcing some special Pride news very soon…
