Good Things Come In Threes
THREE STATES. THREE DAYS. THREE HUGE VENUES.
After weeks of torment and rumors, posters appearing on the streets of our major east coast cities, and mysterious posts on social media, the full line up for Good Things Festival has been released and boy it’s way above anything we expected.
Over the last few years, festivals hitting Australia’s shores have been few and far between within the scene and majority of people feeling like it’s dying. When hope is almost loss, Destroy All Lines will pull through. Good Things Festival is a weekend bender hitting Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this December! The line-up is packed with international acts as well as a few Aussie faves to help push our local scene. The best part, ITS ALL AGES!
Headlining this hectic festival is The Offspring; international icons of the scene who have been unstoppable for 20+ years. Returning to our shores for the first time since Soundwave Festival (RIP) in 2013, these Cali boys are back and will be bringing their scene-defining, record breaking album ‘SMASH’ to the stage, from start to finish. This is a major win for Australian fans and definitely a set you don’t want to miss.
Alongside these greats we have Stone Sour, bringing their impeccable, ARIA charting album Hydrogradto the stage, closing off another album cycle, pop-punk heroes All Time Low return to us, for the 3rd time in 4 years and Babymetal hitting our shores for a much awaited first time. All surrounded by Dropkick Murphys, Bullet For My Valentine, The Used, Mayday Parade and many more.
Although the international acts are exciting for Australian fans, we can’t forget the incredible onshore talent plastered throughout the bill. The Smith Street Band, Northlane, Tonight Alive, Make Them Suffer, Waax, Void of Vision and Ecca Vandalare some of the best, most established and up and coming bands within our scene that are all taking over the world in their respective genre, one country at a time.
The weekend touring festival kicks off in Melbourne on Friday, December 7 at Melbourne Showgrounds, followed by Sydney at Parramatta Park and Brisbane at Brisbane Showgrounds.
