The band has just released their latest album, Midnight, February 2019. They create a unique and catchy pop-rock sound that you can’t help but want to dance to.
The Midnight Tour made its stop in Philadelphia, PA on March 3rdat Union Transfer. Despite the snow and impending storm, fans lined the sidewalk outside the venue eager to enjoy their night. Once doors opened, fans slowly filled in the venue, talking with each other about how excited they were to see one of their favorite bands as well as the opening acts. L.I.F.T, Super Whatevr, With Confidence are opening this tour, and each band puts on a great performance.
Once Set It Offs two-minute countdown to their set came on the screen, the crowd screamed with excitement. They opened with Lonely Dance, bringing great energy to the stage. SIO kept that high energy for their entire set, consisting of 22 songs with 2 more for an encore. Cody is a great frontman, engaging with the fans, going as far as climbing into the crowd multiple times to crowd surf and sing. Fans help up pieces of paper during Unopened Windows, to honor Cody’s father, who had passed away. It was a touching moment, and everyone in the venue could feel the pure emotion coming through the song. Maxx showcased his drumming skills with a drum solo mixing various songs including You Should See Me in a Crown (Billie Eilish), Toxic (Britney Spears), 7 Rings (Ariana Grande), DDU-DU DDU-DU (BlackPink), Baby Shark, Without Me (Halsey), and Idol (BTS). After the encore, Dan, Zach, and Maxx threw guitar picks, setlists, and drumsticks into the crowd, while Cody jumped offstage and hugged everyone he could reach from the barricade. The Midnight Tour continues through to July, ending in Mountain View, CA.
