Now that the Vans Warped Tour is on its last leg, fans of the ska/pop-punk/Emo and all other sub-genres are looking for a new annual musical gathering spot. Enter Back to the Beach Fest–a second-year music festival held on the sands of Huntington State Beach in California.
In 2018, the first annual Back to the Beach Fest was curated by Travis Barker and John Feldman. The festival scene is no new frontier for them. With an eclectic line up spanning multiple genres and generations, the festival returns in 2019 with a roster that includes bands such as: The Used, Goldfinger with special guests, Less Than Jake, The Wonder Years, Blink-182 (who are playing Enema of the State in honor of the 20th anniversary), and many more.
One big selling point of the festival is the family-friendly atmosphere. Youngsters will have a dedicated zone known as the Lil’ Punk Kidzone. Within the said zone, there will be plenty of fun activities and healthy food choices. As an added benefit for parents with little ones, children age 10 and under are allowed entry to the festival free of charge with a paid adult.
Get your tan on April 27th and 28th, as Back to the Beach Fest looks to make itself a mainstay amongst the vast ocean (pun intended) of music festivals. Tickets are on sale now. For more info and daily lineups check the website found below. https://backtothebeachfest.com
