Oh, Weatherly, Never Loved, and Boys of Fall @ The Revolution in Amityville, NY
Review & photography by Kristen Zarra
Boys of Fall, Oh, Weatherly and Never Loved stopped in Amityville, NY at the Revolution Bar and Music Hall for their April 7thtour date. The venue for the night was on the smaller side, making it for a more intimate, no barricade show. These three bands were supported with a few local acts to kick the night off.
Never Loved took the stage and kept the energy of the crowd up. Fans were dancing and enjoying the music. Throughout their set, the band interacted with the crowd, and people who were sitting at the bar moved up to join in. Their self-titled EP can be streamed on Apple Music and Spotify. Oh, Weatherly was up next. These guys bring an upbeat and fun vibe to the stage. The crowd sang along and had a great time listening to their set. All the guys moved around the stage, engaging the crowd and just having a good time performing. Oh, Weatherly’s music is upbeat, fun and overall a good time to listen too. They just released Lips Like Oxygen: Reimagined, a new take on their EP.
Closing out the show was Boys of Fall, a pop/alternative rock band from Detroit, MI. As soon as they came on stage and began their set the crowd jumped, moshed and sang along. There was never a dull moment during their set. Boys of Fall had a great stage presence, making it a great ending to a night full of music. This tour still has some dates left, so don’t miss your chance to catch these three bands in a city near you!
