Vans Warped Tour has always been a safe place that people from all different backgrounds could come together and enjoy a day full of their favorite music. After last year’s final full cross country tour, fans were devastated that it would be the last year ever of the Vans Warped Tour. Little did we know that Kevin Lyman (founder of the festival) had a special treat for fans this 25th-anniversary tour. Some people predicted there would be some variant of Warped tour to occur this year, but no one could fully predict the astounding events released.
There are three separate events occurring to celebrate the 25th anniversary, a one day event in Cleveland, Ohio (June 8), a two day event in Atlantic City, New Jersey (June 29-30), and finally a two day event in Mountain View, California (July 20-21).
Fans from all over the country have already purchased tickets, causing the Atlantic City and Cleveland date to sell out, and are planning their road trips for their chosen event. On the Vans Warped Tour website, they have even supplied resources for hotels for fans that will be traveling a significant distance.
Besides the bands they have lined up for the shows, Vans Warped Tour will feature a few other unique activities this year such as wrestling, motocross, vert ramp, and a warped museum. The Atlantic City date will also include a human cannonballer. Some fans are especially excited for the Warped Museum because they feel that the tour has been such a huge part of their lives that they are looking forward to being able to reminisce on all the past tours.
Each event has a different line up of artists performing but a few artists that are bound to draw a crowd are Blink 182, Sum 41, The All American Rejects, The Story So Far, Sleeping With Sirens, Set It Off, and many more. We The Kings are the only band, out of the artists that have been released, to be playing all three events. Even though each lineup is different, none of them are lineups you will want to miss.
