Ever since lockdown has essentially stopped the live music industry in its tracks back in March 2020, live music was hard to come by. This past weekend on October 10th, dvsn performed their fifth sold out Drive-In show at the CityView Drive-In in Toronto.

DVSN is a Canadian R&B duo consisting of singer Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85. The duo had recently released their album “A Muse In Her Feelings” in April 2020, and this concert allowed them to perform some of their hit songs from the album, including “Between Us” featuring the incredible Snoh Aalegra, and “Miss Me?”.

The night began with a warmup set consisting of classic R&B throwbacks to get the audience excited for what was sure to be an incredible night ahead.

Daniel took the stage shortly after, and the air erupted with honking horns from the cars of the audience and screams as he came out on stage. Throughout the course of the night, he performed songs from all three of the duo’s albums, including “Hallucinations”, “Too Deep” from their debut album, “Sept. 5th”.

Towards the end of the night, Daniel brought out Scarborough’s very own Shantel May, who performed songs like “Until I Say So” and “It’s Better This Way”, after which Shantel and Daniel performed their song “…Again” from dvsn’s most recent album.

Great energy all throughout the night, coupled with the incredible backdrop of the Toronto skyline, made for an incredible sold out show.
